Now nude textures are available for the Shek race and the both genders of humans in Kenshi. This mod adds a nude texture with normal maps that don’t stray far from the base game ones, bulk and muscular definition is untouched. Thanks to Samedog.
Installation
Back your files up before installing mod.
Download “Kenshi-nude-mod.7z” and open it. Place “_yet_another_kenshi_nude_mod.mod”, “_yet_another_kenshi_nude_mod.info” and “_yet_another_kenshi_nude_mod.img” from the archiver into Steam > Steamapp > common > Kenshi > Data >
Put the content from the editor folder into Steam > Steamapp > common > Kenshi > Data >editor
Go to character > textures > human > and place files: “human_female_body_diffuse.dds”, “human_female_body_mask_HI.dds”, “human_female_body_normal.dds”, “human_female_body_normal_muscular.dds”, “human_female_body_normal_skinny.dds” in “Steam > Steamapp > common > Kenshi > Data > character > skin > human_female” and overwrite existing game files.
Put all .dds files from “character > textures > human_male >” into “Steam > Steamapp > common > Kenshi > Data > character > skin > human_male” and overwrite existing game files.
Drop all .dds files from “character > textures > shek>” into “Steam > Steamapp > common > Kenshi > Data > character > skin >bone_female” and overwrite existing game files.
Copy all .dds files from “character > textures > shek_male>”to “Steam > Steamapp > common > Kenshi > Data > character > skin >bone_male” and overwrite existing game files.
Go to “character > meshes” and place the “bone_female.mesh” and “bone_male.mesh”in “Steam > Steamapp > common > Kenshi > Data > character > mesh > bones” replace files with the same name with new ones.
Put “kenshi_female.mesh” and “kenshi_male.mesh” files into “Steam > Steamapp > common > Kenshi > Data > character > mesh > human” and replace files with THE NAME human_female.mesh and human_male.mesh with new ones. Note: If the human meshes don’t work in game, try to change just the name (kenshi_female and kenshi_male by the original name human_female and human_female).
Open the game and enable it in the “mods” tab in the launcher!
Uninstalling
Copy the original files you should’ve backed up over the existing ones in same locations.
