The mod replaces 4 default characters such as: Bear, Cherry Bomb, Hex, and Pills with nude models. It’s based on the Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut Female Nude Skins by Orangy. Credits: marcus69.
How to Install Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut Naked Females:
Step 1 – Replace the textures with the nude version:
- Extract the mod’s compressed package with 7Zip archiver or another similar program anywhere you can find it easily.
- Go to “..\Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut\Build\WL2_Data” folder.
For Steam it should be: “..\Steam\steamapps\common\Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut\Build\WL2_Data”.
- Backup the “sharedassets2.assets” and “shardassets2.resources” files to a safe location (just in case).
- Now open up the “Naked Wasteland 1.0” folder from unpacked mod’s archive. Place the “UnityEX.exe” into the “WL2_Data” folder, this is where all the assets are kept.
- Put the “Unity_Assets_Files” folder into the “WL2_Data” folder.
- Start “UnityEX.exe”.
- Click on “Open archive” and select “sharedassets2.assets” to open.
- Click on “IMPORT FILES”.
- Done, the nude textures should be in the assets now.
Step 2 – Remove the underwear from your characters:
- Go to your save files (probably in your documents folder).
Note: If you don’t see it then you will need to start a game and play through the intro until it autosaves or you can create a manual save (this is the one you will be editing). - Edit the “.xml” file. You can use WordPad or other similar programs.
- Search for the “UndWear” keyword.
- You should see two underwear items, “Fem_UndWear_Torso” and “Fem_UndWear_Legs”, per character.
- You want to invalidate all underwear items, and the easy way is to just misspell it.
- Change “UndWear” to “UnduWear”, now the game won’t recognize these items.
- Repeat until all the ‘UndWear’ items are invalidated.
- Save and close the “.xml” file.
- Start the game.
- Have fun!
