The Mod Enabler is a tool that adds a basic texture/mesh mod support to Nioh 2. You can easily activate your mods with it. It also includes two additional mods that remove a fundoshi flap and hide’s blade. Credits: DarkStarSword, etsorhtt aka Anika.
How to install Nioh 2 Mod Enabler
Go to the “Mod Enabler” folder. Drag and drop all its content into the game directory (where nioh2.exe is located). Done. Now you can download and install the desired mod. Try the Nioh 2 Yokai nude skins.
How to Use
After installing a new mod you don’t need to restart the game, just press F10 in game to load and activate it.

To enable/disable these mods, just rename folders inside the “Mods” folder by removing “DISABLED” in their name, and vice versa for disabling them. After changes ( F10 ) in-game to refresh mods. Note: The enabler is still new so some mods won’t work with certain graphic settings because it uses hashes. If you’re using DLSS, these mods might not work. The motion blur should be off.
Known Issues:
Some mods won’t work if you don’t use maximum graphics settings.
Currently mesh replacement results in inverted normal map.
FAQ
Q: There’s a way to bind the HotKeys? I use the Mouseback button for my ingame configuration, so i can’t install this for the hotkey. Any advice? A: Open the “d3dx.ini” file and find line “Key = XBUTTON1” and change it “Key = *YOURKEY”. Use the Virtual-Key Codes (full list below). For example, “Key = VK_SPACE”.

Q: Did you make some changes to the visuals of the game? It feels like there’s a reshade enabled. A: Are you using HDR by any chance? If so, it’s not specific to this mod, reshade and even loading the AMD statistics overlay breaks HDR. Otherwise this tool makes no changes to how the game looks.
